We are looking for Fun, friendly willing to work individuals with a positive and great attitude to be a part our Farm team at Staheli Family Farm! Our Farm team is made up of the best of the best, stay at home parents, retirees, professionals , school teachers, lunch ladies, high school and college students people from all walks of life. Not only does this seasonal job provide a little extra cash, it is also a fun and rewarding way to help others make wonderful Fall family memories.
Work at Staheli Family Farm is mostly outdoors and subject to the weather. We experience both hot and cold weather during our fall season. Work on the farm will require that you are able to stand throughout your shift. Some positions require lifting and a moderate amount of physical activity. Our Farm team must maintain a clean and professional appearance and be ready to have some fun. We have a wide range of areas to work as part of our Farm team. We enjoy hiring individuals who are adaptable, have a positive attitude and want to work! Team members are primarily assigned to one area, but from time to time may assist in another departments. Prepare and serve a variety of yummy foods, desserts, and snacks
Take orders, interact with guests in a Fun, kind, respectful manner and handle transactions
Maintain the cleanliness of cooking, serving, and eating areas
Clean and sanitize workstations on a regular basis
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Restock shelves and food supplies
Wash dishes and clean machines daily
Prior food handling or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
Be Happy to assist and interact with guests as needed, work with your team
Monitor and facilitate Gem Stone Mining, Ax Throwing or Paint Ball Gallery
Create a positive first and last experience for guests, have fun!
Responsible for answering questions and interacting with guests with a positive attitude
Must be friendly and able to interact and speak with guests
Be Happy and assist guests as needed!
Patrol the corn maze and make sure guests are safe and having fun
Enforce rules to ensure a clean and safe environment, damage control
Empty trash cans without being told
Must be able to engage and interact with guests of all ages
Collect wheelbarrows from parking lot
Opportunity to assist with events such as Pig Races and Candy Cannon
Comfortable and reliable to work independently, a leader!
Be Happy to assist guests as needed
Operate tractors that pull Hayrides and Cow Train
Assist guests on and off the wagon or train
Maintain safety first and foremost by enforcing the rules at each station
Must be personable individuals who enjoy greeting and talking with guests
Must be at least 25 years old with a good driving record
Mechanical aptitude is a plus to get along with some of our old tractors and equipment
Set up and tear down of event attractions, before and after season
Cleaning and maintenance of food areas and attractions
Pick pumpkins, unload pumpkins and cut corn stalks for décor
Collect pumpkin carts and wheelbarrows from parking lot and farm land
Restock soda, condiments, trays and food supplies, and attraction items
Deliver food items to booths for resale
PARKING, odd jobs and other maintenance
HARD WORKER ,enjoy physical labor and maintain endurance with a great attitude
Motivated and able to stay on task while working independently or with others
Consult your fall calendar! We need to know which days you are available to work throughout our 2022 season (Sept. 24th - Oct. 29th). *Fall break is October 13th - 17th & October 21st- 24th. Please understand these dates are the peak times of our season. *Incentives may apply if working during these peak times. Keep in mind homecoming, hunting, travel, football games, family pictures, etc. Time off must be requested 1 - 2 weeks in advance or prior to accepting the job. ** Please note: if a minor, YOU are applying for the job not your parent. (though they can) We expect to talk with you and have you be responsible for any communication that has to do with your job. HOURS Monday -Thursday 5-9 PM Friday and Saturday noon-11 Pm ** these hours reflect times we will be open to the public . You will be required to come earlier and stay later. All employees must be willing and able to work weekends.
